Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

Effective from: 1 September 2026

By booking a place on Sentinel Goalkeeper Training, the parent/guardian agrees to the following terms and conditions on behalf of the participating child.

1. Booking & Payment

1.1. Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

1.2. A booking is only confirmed once the required payment has been successfully completed.

1.3. Each booking relates to the specific Sentinel group selected at the time of booking.

1.4. The monthly fee is £35 per goalkeeper.

1.5. Sessions are approximately 60 minutes and are delivered as part of a structured goalkeeper development programme.

1.6. Each group has a maximum capacity of 6 goalkeepers to maintain a high level of individual coaching and development.

1.7. Automatic Re-enrolment

Each booking will be automatically re-enrolled onto the next training block in order to secure your child's place within their current Sentinel group.

Towards the end of the current training block, a payment schedule for the next block will be sent to parents/guardians. Payment will be required to confirm and continue your child's place for the following block.

If you do not wish for your child to continue into the next block, please email sentinelgoalkeeping@hotmail.com before the payment schedule is issued, stating your child's full name and the Sentinel group they currently attend.

Places are limited to 6 goalkeepers per group, so any place not continuing may be offered to another goalkeeper.

2. Attendance

2.1. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child arrives on time and is collected promptly following the session.

2.2. If a goalkeeper is unable to attend a session, parents/guardians should notify the coach as soon as reasonably possible.

2.3. Missed sessions by a participant are not normally refundable or transferable to another session.

2.4. Sentinel Goalkeeper Training may occasionally allow a make-up session where space and circumstances permit, but this is not guaranteed.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

3.1. Once a place has been booked and payment has been made, refunds will not normally be provided for sessions missed by the participant.

3.2. If Sentinel Goalkeeper Training has to cancel a session, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative session or appropriate credit where possible.

3.3. If a session cannot be delivered because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, venue closure or other unforeseen circumstances, we will communicate the available options to parents/guardians.

4. Health, Safety & Medical Information

4.1. Parents/guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or other relevant circumstances that could affect their child's participation.

4.2. Parents/guardians must inform the coach of any injury or medical issue before the session begins.

4.3. Participants should not attend training if they are unwell or have an injury that prevents them from participating safely.

4.4. Goalkeeping involves physical activity, including running, jumping, diving and contact with the ground and ball. Sessions will be delivered with appropriate consideration for the participant's age and ability.

4.5. Participants are expected to follow the instructions of the coaching staff and behave appropriately throughout the session.

5. Equipment & Clothing

5.1. Participants should arrive appropriately dressed for football and the weather conditions.

5.2. Goalkeepers should bring suitable goalkeeper gloves where appropriate, shin pads, suitable footwear and a drink.

5.3. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child has appropriate personal equipment.

6. Safeguarding & Behaviour

6.1. Sentinel Goalkeeper Training is committed to providing a positive, inclusive and respectful environment for all participants.

6.2. Bullying, abusive behaviour, discrimination, threatening behaviour or deliberate damage to property will not be tolerated.

6.3. Coaches may remove a participant from a session where their behaviour presents a risk to themselves, another participant, the coaching staff or the safe running of the session.

6.4. Parents/guardians are expected to support the coaching team and the standards of behaviour expected within the programme.

7. Photography & Video

7.1. Photography or video may occasionally be used for coaching, promotional or social media purposes.

7.2. Any required photography/video consent will be obtained through the registration process.

7.3. Parents/guardians may contact Sentinel Goalkeeper Training if they wish to discuss or change their photography/video consent.

8. Coaching & Group Allocation

8.1. Sentinel Goalkeeper Training will aim to provide age-appropriate and progressive goalkeeper coaching.

8.2. Players may occasionally be grouped or challenged differently according to their age, experience, ability and developmental needs.

8.3. The coach may modify activities during a session where necessary for safety, weather, player numbers, ability or other practical reasons.

9. Parent/Guardian Responsibility

9.1. Parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate registration and emergency contact information.

9.2. Parents/guardians must remain responsible for their child until the child has been handed over to the coaching team and again immediately following the session.

9.3. Parents/guardians should inform Sentinel Goalkeeper Training of any changes to relevant contact or medical information.
